David focuses on the gathering that took place in Jerusalem in 2016 and the impact that it made and gives us an insight into what God is currently doing in Egypt (Isaiah 19).

David Demian was born in Egypt and was raised in a Coptic family. In 1984, he left his successful medical career and was obedient in following God’s call to prepare the bride for Jesus’ coming. His passion and desire to first and foremost be a friend of God, led him on an amazing journey within his life and ministry. David met his wife, Ruth (a Canadian doctor), in Egypt and the two of them moved to Canada for the birth of their first son in 1988. Although the couple had intended to move back to Egypt, God clearly spoke to them and called them to remain in Canada. To this day, David and Ruth and their seven children live in Vancouver where Ruth has now established her practice. David Demian is the founder and director of Watchmen for the Nations and has a mandate from God to call the international body of Christ to unity and reconciliation. Global gatherings therefore take place often so that thousands of individuals can come together, have fellowship with one another and seek the Lord together.
Born in Egypt of Coptic Christian parents, David was raised and active in the church from an early age. He pursued medical studies and established a successful career. In 1984, the Lord called him to leave medicine to prepare the church to be the bride of Christ.
In 1995 David, with the counsel and covering of a seasoned team, initiated “the Gathering ”. Free from planned agendas and schedules, these meetings are a place where believers can gather to worship, pray and seek the face of the Lord.
Since 1998, God has led David and Watchmen team on an amazing journey of healing and reconciliation in Canada and the nations of the world. Today, David resides in Vancouver with Ruth and their seven children.
