Christian Rau

has been part of the Kingdom Impact management team since January 2022.

Christian was born in Leutkirch in the Allgäu region and grew up there with his sister and parents.
He began training with customs in 1999 and moved to Constance in 2001 to work at the German-Swiss border at the customs office and on patrol duty.

There he met his wife Marion, who was also transferred to Constance as a customs officer in 2001. Christian and Marion married in 2007 and moved to Owingen. It was through Marion’s extended family that Christian came into contact with Jesus and began to explore his faith.

As their desire to have children did not work out at first and the doctors had no hope of a natural solution, Christian’s parents-in-law offered the couple prayer. After this prayer, their four children were born in 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2012.

From 2008 to 2014, Christian was regionally active as a successful and passionate soccer coach. He then worked as a speaker for the South Baden Football Association and the DFB to train coaches. Christian has always loved multiplication and team leadership.

In 2011, he moved to Sigmaringen to work at the Federal Finance Administration’s Education and Science Center. He first trained customs officers as weapons carriers and later headed up the “Training and further education of trainers for self-defense, operational training and general training” department.

Christian experienced the power of intercession first-hand in his home group. Through the “pulling” of the Holy Spirit and the loving perseverance (in prayer) of his spiritual grandmother, Christian registered for a men’s weekend in Altensteig. There he came to the end of his life and surrendered everything to God. In 2013 and 2014, he then attended the Bible and discipleship school at “Ellel Ministries” in Altensteig and got his life in order from the ground up.

Christian was also influenced by Raise Leaders, including two years of mentoring and several months of spiritual leadership training.
2016-2018 Christian and Marion were also part of “Beyond Gold”. The heart of “Beyond Gold” is to bring the gospel of the kingdom of God to athletes and celebrities and to accompany them in discipleship so that they in turn spread the kingdom of God in their sphere of influence.

Kingdom Impact
In 2018, Christian and Marion attended the “Living with the Invisible” school together. Many more training courses followed and MP3s from Kingdom Impact were listened to on every journey to and from work. In 2019, they were both mentors at “Living with the Invisible” and became employees at Kingdom Impact.

In the fall of 2019, the whole family moved from Owingen to Denkingen to a new house – a “vocation house” that has apartments as well as rooms for events. The family department “Kingdom Family” was created and was built up in prayer so that the Kingdom of God would land deeper in marriage & family. In 2020, the first Kingdom Family events took place in Denkingen.

In 2021, God called the family into full-time ministry, whereupon Christian and Marion asked for their release from civil service. Christian has now been part of the Kingdom Impact leadership team since 2022.

Christian loves to proclaim the Kingdom of God and train people in “living with the unseen”. He has it on his heart to see the family of God come into full maturity together, taking hold of their authority in Christ: men, women, children, marriages, families and clans extending the Kingdom of God in the midst of their daily lives – on earth as it is in heaven. So he especially loves to form, train and accompany teams in the reality of the Kingdom of God.
